After studying in the commercial field, Jean-Michel Marti worked in various roles, particularly in the field of social insurance and for a humanitarian organization. He then trained as a social worker and worked for 9 years in a social action institution in Geneva, first as a social worker, then by helping to set up a support service for the institution’s employees and managers. He was also responsible for a social and health action center.

In 2006, attracted by the interest of a position within an associative structure, he joined the SSIE as a social advisor and director. He particularly appreciates being able to actively continue his work as a social worker while being committed to ensuring the association operates as effectively as possible and delivers quality services.

Jean-Michel Marti is the reference person for questions related to social insurance, but he works in all areas of action of the SSIE.
